This is a small motif with beads added to picots
This is a small bookmark worked in no 40 thread. The idea of this motif is to practise bridge tatting over a ring in the centre, adding picots to the ring to make a small flower, the tail is spiral tatting
This is a christmas tree I was playing with in No 80 thread worked in a varigated green and red thread.
Another of Julie Patersons crosses worked with buttons. I have used no 20 thread in this cross.
this cross is taken from Julie Patersons book featuring onion skins
On this cross I have used double ps in the centre of each chain

this cross is all one colour with the chains worked in node stitch 3/3

this is the basic cross worked in 2 colours

I have used 2 colours and replaced the centre p with seed beads on shuttle thread
With this cross I have used the same stitch count throughout but replaced the ps with thrown rings.
On this cross I have used two colours and used graduated picots on the chains.
With this pattern I learned that if using 2 coulours and you bridge tat the last chain it will come out in two colours.

This is the first basic cross from Rebecca Jones book. I have used this series to try different techniques in tatting making several different crosses. It's interesting to see how the use of different techniques change the shape and oiverall look of the cross.
