This doyley was worked in no 40 thread using 1 colour for ball and a contrast for shuttle. The pattern has been published in several books   but is very effective in 2 colours.

    Comment 2: - Madge, could you give the titles of a couple of the books which have this pattern? - I have so many books that I don't know where to begin to look for it!
    I love this design, it would be perfect for a granddaughter who has new bedroom furniture - she likes purple!
